Sports-centric streaming cable TV alternative Fubo TV will add ESPN, ABC and other Disney-owned networks on August 1.

The news was confirmed in a tweet by David Gandler, the chief executive officer of the New York City-based streaming service.

In June, Fubo TV said it had struck a deal to bring ESPN, ABC and the other Disney networks to the service, though an exact date was not known. Two weeks ago, Fubo TV said the channels would be available to subscribers “this August.”

Responding to a viewer’s tweet, Gandler both officially and unofficially announced ESPN would be made available to subscribers on August 1.

Fubo TV’s Standard, Family and Ultra packages will include ABC News Live, Disney Channel, Freeform, ESPN, SEC Network, FX, FXX and National Geographic as well as a handful of other channels. Fubo Latino and Español packages will also include ESPN Deportes and Nat Geo Mundo.

Users will be able to add ESPNU, ESPNews, Fox Life, Baby TV and FXM to their packages separately. The SEC Network and ACC Network will also be available to out-of-market subscribers for a separate fee. Local ABC station will also be available, but only in the eight markets where ABC owns the broadcast outlet.

Fubo TV offers more than 100 channels for $60 a month, though the price is increasing on August 1 to $65 a month for new and current subscribers.
