Three NBC-owned stations will jointly produce and simulcast a new lifestyle and entertainment program that aims to highlight the best sights, businesses and events throughout California.

“California Live” will debut this month on NBC’s flagship west coast station KNBC (Channel 4) in Los Angeles as well as NBC-owned sister stations KNTV (Channel 11) in San Jose and KNSD (Channel 39, Cable 7) in San Diego. KNTV broadcasts NBC programming to the San Francisco market.

The 30-minute show “takes viewers across the state to experience must-see destinations, a diverse culinary scene, thrilling adventures, and everything top-of-mind to Californians,” according to a press release.

The show will air on television in the three cities and will be streamed online for viewers who live outside of the designated markets.

NBC said in a statement that it will provide a unique opportunity for prospective advertisers to target viewers in three different communities simultaneously, though traditional local ad inserts will also be offered.

California Live will air at 11:30 a.m. starting January 7.
